The Beaumont Singers take their name from the house where they rehearse. They are a chamber choir and sing a wide repertoire, both sacred and secular, from the 16th to the 20th century. Recent concerts include: Bach's St. John Passion with Gareth Malone as the Evangelist (March 2007); Brahms, Elgar and Holst songs (June 2007); Purcell's Queen Mary Funeral Music and Byrd's Liturgy for All Souls and Mass for Five Voices with the King's Trumpeters directed by Crispian Steele-Perkins (November 2007); a sell-out Bach's St. Matthew Passion, with Gareth Malone as the Evangelist (March 2008); the Monteverdi Vespers with period instruments (November 2008); Haydn's The Creation with Gareth Malone (March 2009); a programme of songs on the theme of Love (June 2009); music from Purcell, Gounod and Britten inspired by St. Cecilia (November 2009); a triumphant Mozart's Requiem (March 2010),  Bach's Christmas Oratorio (November 2010), Music of the King James' Bible (March 2011) and Bach's Mass in B Minor (December 2011).
